Accountant $1200/month 


Summary: Basic accounting responsibilities for a Property Tax Consultant’s office using Sage Accounting Software. Job includes:


  • Accountant reconciliation for multiple cash accounts and accounts receivable.
  • Posting cash receipts.
  • Preparing semi-monthly payroll, remitting withheld taxes, plus company match to the IRS in a timely manner.
  • Preparing Quarterly and annual Payroll Reports for State and IRS, including 941’s, 940’s, W-2s and TWC Unemployment reports.
  • Entering vendor bills, preparing cash requirement reports, and printing related checks.
  • Prepare Financial reports to include:
  • Profit and Loss Statement
  • Balance Sheet
  • Cash Flow
  • Aged Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare and provide information as needed to the tax accountant for the preparation of the Income Tax Return and Texas Franchise Tax Return. 


Qualifications:  Associate Degree (minimum) in accounting. 3-5 years of experience. Sage or Peachtree Accounting Software Experience is a plus.
